Mime Talks: How Action Shapes Performance
Free Workshop - 11am- 12:30pm, 4/2/26

Mime Talks explores how the body and its actions build stories and relationships.
This workshop is open to professional performers (or in training, age 16+)of any discipline: actors, dancers, clowns, physical performers, or anything in between- you're all welcome!
The session is led by Matilda Deidda, Andreia Simoës and Emily Briggs from Maremotus Collective, whilst in residence at Surge. Through games and physical exploration, you will be guided through key principles of corporeal mime.
Maremotus Collective use corporeal mime as a tool for creation, improvisation and play. The trio trained in the methodology of Etienne Decroux at Centro Moveo, Barcelona.
