Surge's TechBox invites you to our Autumn Sharing at our studio in central Glasgow.
Come along and experience three new local and international projects that integrate technology with performance and audience interaction.
#streamwalkers
A hybrid street performance merging live action, video projection, and interactive streaming from Signdance Collective (UK), Znagovni Ples (Croatia) and Ana Monro Theatre Company (Slovenia).
Performed simultaneously in physical space and online, it invites viewers to explore shifting realities — material and virtual, human and artificial. Created and performed by a collective of seven international artists, #streamwalkers is a continuously evolving exploration of presence, perception, and digital embodiment
Making Nature
Making Nature is a collaborative exploration into the relationship between music and visual art by Laurie O’Dowd and Ewan Johnston.
Through improvisation it explores landscapes of image and sound, working towards a modality of immersion, connecting the sonic and the visual.
Making Scenes With Machines!
What happens when physical theatre, improvisation, and AI are brought together in the same room?
TechBox invites you to collaborate and experiment with AI in a theatrical space, using simple props, and intriguing scenarios and characters. Join in or observe the unscripted mayhem!
