​Introducing our newest project – ImmersiveLABs

Are you curious about what immersive technologies can bring to your creative practice? Are you interested in how it contributes to storytelling, playfulness and an audience’s experience?

 

ImmersiveLABs is a 2-day intensive workshop for emerging artists designed to experiment with accessible technologies, introducing the sensory possibilities within hybrid theatre and how it can spark different sensations for an audience.

Led by Scottish Youth Theatre in partnership with Surge Theatre, alongside a team of designers and technical experts, you will explore a cluster of innovative technologies across the two days. From robotic puppets and VR environments to projection mapping and real-time generative AI – shape your creative ideas into (mixed) realities.
